Day 1 – The Start of the Journey

Hi there, and welcome to my very first dev blog!

I’m a solo developer chasing a long-time dream — creating games that are fun, meaningful, and a joy to play.

That passion started way back in high school, nearly 15 years ago (wow, time really flies!), when I tried building a personal version of The Oregon Trail. It was a humble beginning, but it planted the seed.

Since then, game development has always had a place in my heart.

Right now, I’m building a game called Dungeon Merchant — a shop management game set deep within a mysterious dungeon. It’s part tycoon, part adventure, and entirely fueled by my love for quirky game loops and meaningful progression.

This first post might be short, but it's just the start. I’ll be sharing regular updates — from design decisions and coding challenges to art experiments and random ideas.
